• Due to the situation and the limits on congregating, we will not hold our Shabbat Mevarchim kiddush this Shabbat.
• Mazal Tov to Azaria and Annick Rein on the birth of their granddaughter, Yuval, to Yanai and Adi Rein.
• Mazal tov to Ceil and David Olivestone on the birth of their granddaughter, Naomi Miriam, to Hillel and Jen Olivestone in Teaneck, NJ.
• Mazal tov to Aaron and AdiellaTaub on the birth of a daughter, as to grandparents Daniel and Zehava Taub and Jack and Judith Djemal, and to great-grandfather Dr. Henry Goldblum.
• Congratulations to Michael Kagan on the publication of his The Aliens Haggadah and Chronicles (Ktav) – a fully illustrated, original commentary/story on the Haggadah for both children and adults.
  The Hebrew version is expected before next Pesach.
• Women's Tehillim will be meeting this Shabbat at 4:30 pm.

• Rav Vilk will give his daf yomi Shiur at 6:30 am Shabbat morning,
  but not his shiur between minḥah and maariv.

הלוויה התקיימה בדרום אפריקה ביום שלישי.

אלן ישב שבעה בביתו, ברח׳ גדעון 2, ממוצאי-שבת עד תפילת שחרית בבוקר יום שני.

יום ראשון   –  שחרית בשעה 7:45, מנחה-ערבית בשעה 17:40
יום שני      –  שחרית בשעה 7:45.

המשפחה ביקשה למסור שלאור המצב כרגע, היא תקבל בהבנה מי שיחשוש להגיע, או מי שלא ירצה לשהות זמן ארוך בשבעה.

We extend our condolences to our member Alan Berkley
on the passing of his mother

Sheila Hazel Berkley a"h.

The funeral took place in South Africa on Tuesday.

Alan will be sitting shiv'a in his home, 2 Gideon Street, from Saturday night to shacharit of Monday morning.

Motzaei Shabbat –  arvit at 6:22pm
Sunday –  Shaharit at 7:45am, minhah-arvit at 5:40pm
Monday –  Shaharit at 7:45am.

The family wishes us to convey that in light of the current situation, they will understand anyone's hesitation to visit, or to spend but a short while at the shiv'a.

• מזל טוב לגרשון (ג'ורג׳) לואל  להולדת נין בשבת זכור – בן לשירה ונחמיה קוה מנחלת צבי, נכד לרב אשר וחוה וודקה מבת ים.
• הקרטונים בחצר בית הכנסת מיועדים לאיסוף שאריות משלוחי המנות עד השעה 12:00 מחר. הם יחולקו למקלט לנשים, לבית לחיילים בודדים ולאתנחתא (מקום לטיפול בנערים ונערות בסיכון בדרך חברון 106). תודה לששון על הארגון.

• עם שינוי הנחיות פיקוד העורף, אנו רשאים לחזור להתפלל בבית הכנסת, אך לא יותר מ-50 איש ואשה בו-זמנית. ואם תהיה התראה, אנשים יצטרכו ללכת מיד למקלט הציבורי שבסוף רחוב יעל. כדי להבטיח שלא נחרוג ממספר המתפללים המותר, נקיים בערב שבת שלושה מניינים — בבית הכנסת, במקלט בית משפחת וילק ברחוב מרים חשמונאית 2, ובמקלט בית חברנו גרשון לואל בדרך בית לחם 33 — תוך הגבלת מספר המתפללים בכל אחד מאלה ע"י הרשמה בטבלה זו: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hTW0vtkx4K64Zq8HohSWHeKJ7dRSZcuig31y_k0agxA/edit?usp=sharing.
  תפילות יום השבת – שחרית-מוסף, מנחה גדולה וקטנה וערבית מוצאי-שבת – תתקיימנה כולן רק בבית הכנסת.

• שיעורי הרב וילק יתקיימו השבת: דף יומי בשעה 6:30, ושיעור בין מנחה וערבית בשבת.

Announcements      

• Mazal tov to "our lone soldier", Avi Shapiro, and to his wife Malki, on their marriage a week and a half ago.
• • Mazal Tov to George  (Gershon) Lowell on the birth of a great grandson on Shabbat Zachor — son to Shira and Nechemya Kaveh of Nachalat Tzvi, grandson to Chava and Rav Asher Vodka of Bat Yam. 
  • There are cartons in the shul courtyard for collection of  leftover mishloach manot till 12:00 Noon tomorrow. They will be divided between the Women’s Shelter, the Lone Soldiers’ Home, and Etnachta (a center for treatment of troubled teenagers on 106 Derech Hevron). Thank you to Sasson for arranging this.
  • With the changes in the Homefront Command's directives, as of mincha today, we are permitted to return to the shul with no more than 50 people in the shul at one time. If there is an alert, people will have to go immediately to the public miklat at the far end of Rechov Yael. To ensure that we don't exceed the permitted numbers, on Erev Shabbat there will be three minyanim — in shul, in the Vilk home's miklat at 2 Miriam Hashmona'it Street, and in George Lowell's building's miklat at 33 Derech Bet Lechem — each of which will be limited by your signing up within the permitted allotment in the following sign-up table:

  On Shabbat day, all minyanim — shacharit-musaf, mincha gedola and ketana, and arvit motzei Shabbat — will all be conducted only in the shul.

• • Rav Vilk will give his usual shiurim this Shabbat: daf yomi at 6:30AM and his shiur between minḥah and maariv.
• Shabbat candle-lighting: 5:05 PM. All tefillot will be at their regular times, as posted on our Times page.

מקלט בניין משפחת וילק – רח' מרים החשמונאית 2 – עד 20 איש.
ביום שלישי, ליל פורים – מנחה בשעה 17:35, ערבית ומגילה – בשעה 18:08;
ביום רביעי, פורים דמוקפין – שחרית ומגילה בשעה 6:30.

מקלט בניין גרשון לואל – דרך בית לחם 33 – עד 40 איש.
ביום שלישי, ליל פורים – מנחה בשעה 17:35, ערבית ומגילה – בשעה 18:08;
ביום רביעי, פורים דמוקפין – שחרית ומגילה בשעה 7:30, מגילה לנשים בשעה 10:00.
