- The kehilla is invited to kiddush on Shabbat after the 9:00am minyan.
- Mazal tov to Tabby and John Corre on the birth of a great-grandson, born to their granddaughter Maya and her husband Shaked Amgar. The proud grandparents are Jackie and David Corre and Shlomit and Shimon Amgar. The other proud great-grandparents are Liz and Danny Ginsbourg.
- Mazal tov to Rav Aaron and Pearl Borow on the birth of a great-grandson to Chaim and Tzivia Zimmerman of Scottsdale, Arizona. Mazal tov also to grandparents Becky and Joe Zimmerman and Shira and Yehoshua Nudell.
- The women’s Tehillim and learning group will meet this Shabbat at 5:30pm. Pearl Borow and Jane Medved will speak.
- Rav Vilk will teach his shiur daf yomi at 6:30am, and his shiur between mincha and maariv on Shabbat.
- This article written by our member, Howie (Shimon) Kahn, appeared in last week’s Jerusalem Post Magazine. It tells the story of a Torah scroll his family took with them when they escaped from Nazi Germany in 1937.
