• Mazal tov to Aharon and Judith Rivlin on the engagement of their granddaughter Naomi Sigal Etzion to Dor Shlomo Trif. Michal is the daughter of Yedidya and Michal from Mazkeret Batia, and Dor is the son of Yishai and Roni from Raanana.
• Should you be unable to come to shul on Purim to hear the Megillah, or if you are able and willing to read for them – please contact Steve Zerobnick at 054-313-3728.
• There will be a women's Megillah reading again this year (for women, by women) on Shushan Purim morning, Wednesday, March 4, at the shul. Details to come.
• The kehilla’s Purim party will take place at the home of the Rav Shlomo and Shoshi Vilk, beginning about half an hour after the Megilla reading in shul. All are welcome!!
• Plan to host a special occasion for which you have more guests than you have sleeping facilities? Are you willing to open your home to help out families who may need an extra bed for the night? The Hesed Committee is offering a new service – see details here.
• Rav Vilk will give his usual shiurim this Shabbat: daf yomi at 6:30AM and his shiur between minḥah and maariv.

• Rolinda and Rabbi Joe Schonwald and Tamara and Simcha Edell invite the Kehilla to a Melaveh Malka in honor of the first yahrtzeit of their beloved mother, Irma Rochlin – an evening of music and inspiration featuring Yehuda Katz and HaMa'agal band – this Saturday night, February 7, 8:00-9:45 PM, in the shul.

• See here Rav Vilk’s remarks of gratitude and appreciation to Michael Gillis, at the kiddish in his honor on Shabbat Bo, for his ten years' service to Kehillat Yael as a Vaad member, and five as Rosh Hava’ad. Rav Vilk presented Michael with the kehilla’s gift – a set of Midrash Tanhuma. The entire kehilla wishes Alex Pomson success, upon his assuming the position of Rosh Hava’ad.
