• ראו כאן דברי תודה והערכה של הרב וילק למייקל גיליס, בקידוש שנערך לכבודו בשבת פרשת בא, לאחר עשר שנות חברותו של מייקל בוועד, מתוכן חמש שנים כיו"ר. הרב מסר למייקל מתנה בשם הקהילה – סט ספרי מדרש תנחומא. הקהילה כולה מאחלת הצלחה רבה לאלכס פומסון בתפקידו כיו"ר הוועד החדש.

• Shabbat candle-lighting 4:36pm. See our Times page. 
• Rav Vilk will give his usual shiurim this Shabbat: daf yomi at 6:30a.m. and his shiur between minḥah and maariv.
• Mazal tov to Fayge and Carl Posy on the bat mitzvah of their granddaughter Shalhevet Yehudit,  daughter of Naava and Ari Shafner of Jerusalem.  Mazal tov also to the other grandparents,  Ellen and David Shafner of Ramat Beit Shemesh.
• See here Rav Vilk’s remarks of gratitude and appreciation to Michael Gillis, at the kiddish in his honor on Shabbat Bo, for his ten years' service to Kehillat Yael as a Vaad member, and five as Rosh Hava’ad. Rav Vilk presented Michael with the kehilla’s gift – a set of Midrash Tanhuma. The entire kehilla wishes Alex Pomson success, upon his assuming the position of Rosh Hava’ad.

יחזקאל (בן ששון ובת-שבע) חי ז"ל

אביה של חברתנו, לימור רודגולג-חי.

ההלוויה התקיימה ביום חמישי, באשדוד.

לימור יושבת שבעה עם אחיה ואימה עד יום שלישי בערב,
ברחוב שמואל הנביא 36, דירה 16, באשדוד.

הַמָּקוֹם יְנַחֵם אֶת לימור בְּתוֹךְ שְׁאַר אֲבֵלֵי צִיּוֹן וִירוּשָׁלַיִם.

We regret to inform you of the passing of

Yehezkel Ben Sasson and Bat Sheva) Hai, z"l 

the father of our dear member Limor Rodgold-Hai.

The funeral took place on Thursday in Ashdod.

Limor is sitting shiva with her siblings and mother through Tuesday evening at
36 Shmuel Hanavi Street, apartment 16, in Ashdod.

May Limor be comforted among the mourners for Zion and Jerusalem.

• עם בוא החורף, עונת השפעת כבר כאן.כיוון שאנו מבורכים בחברים קשישים רבים, נבקש את עזרת כולם  כדי לשמור על בית הכנסת בריא. אם נבקש כל מי שחש חולה, משתעל או בספק שמא ידבק אחרים, הרב מעודד אתכם להישאר בבית ולנוח. אם הגעתם לבית הכנסת משתעלים, אנא הרכיבו מסכה – זמינה בבית הכנסת. אם נטלת מסכה, אנא החליפו אותה בחדשה כשתוכלו. עם מעט התחשבות, נוכל להתפלל יחד בבריאות טובה.

• Mazel tov to Fayge and Carl Posy on the birth of a great-grandson, as to the parents, Ahuva and Ynon Ungar, and to the grandparents, Dr. Tmima Alon and HaRav Shmuel Lorenz, and Ruthi and Motti Ungar.

If in doubt, please wear a mask (available in shul) and replace with a fresh one when you are able. Thank you for doing your part so we daven together in good health.
