  • הקהל מוזמן לקידושא רבא בשבת אחרי המנין השני. הקידוש מוקדש ע״י הֶדי ובּן ליפשיץ ומשפחתם לזכרו של אביו של בן, יהודה לייב ליפשיץ ז״ל, לרגל היאָרצײַט ה-39 שלו.
  • מזל טוב למרשה רוט על נישׂואי נכדה אוריאל, בן דניאל וליאורה רוט, לבחירת ליבו טל סנדק, בתם של יעל ושמר סנדק ממודיעין.
  • מזל טוב לרבקה וישראל זרובניק בהגעת נכדתם הבכירה, הללי, לגיל מצוות. הללי היא בתם של שׁיראל ואסף שמואל מאפרת. מזל טוב גם לסבים חגית ויובל שמואל מאפרת ולכל המשפחה.
  • רפואה שלמה לחברינו מנחם זר כבוד, שעבר השבוע ניתוח אורתופדי.

  • הרב וילק יעביר שיעוריו כרגיל – דף יומי בשעה 6:30 בבוקר, ושיעורו בין מנחה וערבית.
  • בליל יום העצמאות 21/4/26 תתקיים תפילת ערבית חגיגית ב-19:40 עם מאיר פכלר בליווי שמעון קהן. שחרית בבוקר החג כרגיל, ב-6:00 וב-7:45. יוגש כיבוד קל לאחר כל מנין.
  • הדלקת נרות שבת בשעה 18:34 ראו עמוד זמני תפילה.

Shabbat Rosh Ḥodesh – Tazria-Metzora

  • There will be kiddush on Shabbat after the 9:00am minyan, sponsored by Hedy and Ben Lipschitz and family to mark the 39th Yahrzeit of Ben’s father, Judah Leib (Jerry) Lipschitz ז״ל.
  • Mazal tov to Marsha Roth upon the marriage of her grandson Uriel, son of Daniel and Leora Roth, to Tal Sandak, daughter of Yael and Shemer Sandak of Modiin.
  • Mazal tov to Rebeca and Steve Zerobnick on the bat mitzvah of their granddaughter Halleli, daughter of Shirel and Assaf Shmuel of Efrat. Mazal tov also to grandparents Hagit and Yuval Shmuel from Efrat and to all the family.
  • Mazal tov to Chaya and Tuvya Klughaupt on the birth of a granddaughter to Tzvi and Noa Klughaupt.
  • We wish a refuah shelema to Menahem Zer Kavod, following his orthopedic surgery this week.
  • Rav Vilk will teach his shiur daf yomi at 6:30am on Shabbat and his shiur between mincha and maariv.
  • Yom Haatzmaut: On Tuesday, April 21, at 7:40pm there will be a festive maariv service led by Meir Fachler, and accompanied by Howie Kahn. Shacharit on Thursday will be as usual at 6:00am and 7:45am, with light refreshments following each minyan.

  • Mazal Tov to No'a and Ari Gorlin on the birth of their granddaughter, daughter to Nitzan and Noa Gorlin, and sister to Avigail and Shaked.
  • On this Monday evening 13/4, at 8:00 pm, we will mark Yom Hashoah with a special program in shul – see its details here.
  • The Women's Tehillim group will meet this Shabbat at a new time – 5:30 pm. Pearl Borow and Jane Medved will speak.

אימן של חברותינו לינדה אשר ונעמי גולדברג.

הלוויה התקיימה בקיסריה אתמול, יום שני י"ט בניסן 6/4.

לינדה ונעמי תשבנה שבעה בבית משפחת גולדברג, ברחוב שמעיה 1, פינת דרך בית לחם, ותקבלנה ביקורי ניחומין:
במוצאי החג, יום רביעי – 22:30-20:30;
ביום חמישי –13:00-10:00 ו-19:00-15:00;
ביום ששי –  13:00-10:00;
במוצאי שבת – 22:30-20:30;
בימים ראשון עד שלישי – 13:00-10:00 ו-21:00-17:00.

מניינים בבית השבעה:
ימים ראשון עד שלישי –מנחה וערבית בשעה 18:50;
יום רביעי –  שחרית בשעה 8:15.

הַמָּקוֹם יְנַחֵם אֶתְכֶן בְּתוֹךְ שְׁאַר אֲבֵלֵי צִיּוֹן וִירוּשָׁלַיִם.

 

We are saddened to announce the death of

Tessa Bor z”l

mother of our dear friends Linda Asher and Naomi Goldberg.

The funeral took place in Caesaria yesterday, Monday April 6th.

Linda and Naomi will sit shiva in the Goldberg home  – 1 Shemaya Street, corner of Derech Beit Lechem – and will receive condolence visits:
Motza'ei chag (Wednesday evening) – 8:30–10:30 pm;
Thursday – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 4:00 – 10:00 pm;
Friday – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm;
Motza’ei Shabbat – 8:30 – 10:30 pm`
Sunday-Tuesday – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 5:00 – 9:00 pm.

Minyanim at the shiv’a home:
Sunday-Tuesday – Mincha-Arvit at 6:50 pm;
Wednesday – Shaharit at 8:15 am.

  • עם המעבר לשעון קיץ, זמני תפילות מנחה וערבית מאוחרים יותר, וגם מניין קבלת שבת מוקדם חוזר לפעול כבר היום.

  • מפגש "שו"ת בנושא פסח" עם הרב וילק יתקיים בזום במוצאי שבת, בשעה 20:30, בקישור זה.

  • Mazel tov to Charlotte & Morry Blumenfeld on the birth of a great granddaughter born to David Pellow and Emunah Levy. Grandparents are Rachel Blumenfeld and Eric Pellow of Toronto and Judith and Benny Levy of Hadera.
  • With the moving of our clocks to Daylight Savings Time, Mincha and Arvit times will be accordingly later, and the early Kabbalat Shabbat minyan is resuming.
  • We are still limited to 50 participants in a minyan. Please sign up here for all minyanim in which you wish to participate.
  • Rav Vilk will not deliver the Shabbat Hagadol shiur, but rather has recorded it here.
  • Please send your Kimcha Defischa charitable contribution soon, so that we can transfer help to the needy this Pesach through six welfare agencies in our area.
  • If you haven't yet done so, hurry up and sell your hametz online, by means of Rabbanei Tzohar (Rav David Stav) here.
  • Members are requested to clean out the cubbies at their seats, and to return books that belong to the Beit Knesset to the bookshelves.
  • On 29th and 30th March there will be cartons outside the shul until 6:00 pm for your unwanted sealed food packages and tins, organised for charity by Sasson Chacotay, as usual.
  • At the conclusions of both shacharit minyanim on Wednesday morning, Erev Pesach, there will be a siyum and light refreshments for the benefit of the bechorot.
  • Women's Tehillim will not be meeting this Shabbat.
  • Rav Vilk will give his usual daf yomi Shiur at 6:30 am, but, as noted above, not his Shabbat Hagadol shiur between minḥah and maariv, rather he has recorded it here.
  • A Pesach questions and answers meeting with Rav Vilk will be conducted by Zoom on Motzaei Shabbat at 8:30 pm here.
