לקרן צדקה של קהילתנו חסרים כספים לעזור לאנשים שעברו אסונות בזמן האחרון. אנא עזרו במה שאתם יכולים.

המחאות ניתן לכתוב לפקודת "בית הכנסת עמק רפאים" ולציין "עבור קרן צדקה". (אחרת הכסף מופנה לחשבון הרגיל של בית הכנסת). ניתן למסור את ההמחאות ליעקב בסטהוף או לשלוח אליו בדואר לרחוב ראובן 7 ירושלים 93510. המחאות אמריקאיות ניתן להעביר לבית הכנסת דרך PEF, אולם יש להודיע ליעקב שיש תרומה בדרך, ולרשום באופן ברור שהתרומה נועדה לקרן הצדקה של בית הכנסת עמק רפאים. לקבלת מידע נוסף ניתן לפנות ליעקב בסטהוף בטלפון 052-3859812.

Our Tzedakah Fund is running short of funds, due to the tremendous need in our community for help in coping with sudden losses or tragedies.  We ask you to make a contribution of whatever you can.

Checks can be made out to “Beit Knesset Emek Refaim” but should be clearly marked for the “TZEDAKAH FUND” (otherwise they go into a different account for the shul’s general expenses). Checks can be delivered or mailed to Ya’acov Besthoff, Rehov Reuvan #7, Jerusalem, 93510. American dollar checks or donations can be made to the shul through PEF – but please inform Ya’acov that they are en route and clearly indicate that they are for the “Tzedakah Fund – Beit Kenesset Emek Refaim”.

 

• הדלקת נרות: 17:58 — כל הזמנים פה.
• קידוש בראש השנה: מי שרוצה יוכל להישאר לקידוש בבית הכנסת לאחר קריאת התורה. הכנו יין ומיץ ענבים, עוגות ושתיה חמה וקרה. את הקידושים תורם ר' יונה בנסון, אביה של רבקה זרובניק, "להודות לקהילה על התפילות הרבות והברכות החמות שליוו אותו ועודדו אותו בתקופת האישפוז הממושך מאז החגים של שנה שעברה. ב"ה יונה בנסון וכל המשפחה מאושרים ומברכים על כך שיונה שוב יכול להיות איתנו בבית הכנסת השנה, ומאחלים לכל הקהילה שנה של בריאות, נחת וכתיבה וחתימה טובה."
• גם וַעַד בית הכנסת והגבאים מוסיפים  ברכה לחברי הקהילה לשנה טובה, בריאות ונחת, שנה שנזכה בה לקבל בברכה את כל הבאים בשערינו.
• השבת – שבת שובה, השיעור בין מנחה לערבית ינתן ע״י פרופ' פנחס שיפמן, הנושא: תקנת השבים.

• Rosh HaShanah kiddushes: whoever wants is welcome to stay at shul after Torah reading, for a light kiddush of wine, grape juice, cakes, hot and cold drinks, sponsored by Yona Benson, Rebeca Zerobnick's father, "to thank the community for the many prayers and warm blessings which encouraged him throughout his hospitalization over the past year. ב״ה Yona and his family are well and give thanks that he will be able to join us this year. They wish the entire kehila a year of בריאות, נחת וכתיבה וחתימה טובה.
• The gabaim and members of the board also take this opportunity to wish all a good New Year, a year of health and nachat, in which we can warmly welcome all who enter our shul.
• This shabbat, Shabbat Shuvah, the lesson between mincha and ma'ariv will be taught by Prof. Pinhas Shifman on the subject of תקנת השבים.
