התבקשנו ע"י נתיב, התוכנית לגיור בצה"ל, לארח 20 חיילים וחיילות לשבת בעוד שבועיים, פרשת תולדות, 2 – 3 דצמבר. מדובר בקבוצת מתגיירים עולים בראשית דרכם.
יבואו החיילים בזוגות (בנים או בנות) ויתארחו לשבת שלמה, כולל לינה וארוחות. יבואו עם המארחים לתפילות ואולי נארגן פעילות חברתית לכל הקבוצה. לכל מי שמעונין לארח נוציא דף הסבר מפורט.
הכנסת האורחים של החיילים היא מצווה חשובה במיוחד לאור המצב של עולים והקשיים שהם נתקלים בהם בתהליך הגיור.

Beit Knesset Emek Refaim has been asked by Nativ, the educational program for conversion in the IDF, to host 20 soldiers over Shabbat Parshat Toldot, December 2-3. These soldiers are at the very beginning of the process of their conversion to Judaism. This Hachnasat Orchim is particularly important because of the difficulties that these immigrant soldiers often encounter in their conversion process.
We are looking for hosts for the entire Shabbat. Soldiers will eat meals with their host families and attend tefilot. We hope to organize a social activity for the entire group at some point over the Shabbat. Soldiers will come in pairs of 2 men or 2 women.
At this point we're looking for 10 families who will show their hospitality and commit to host. We will provide more details to the host families at a later date.
