The funeral was on April 30.
Alexis is observing shiva at 18/20 HaMaapilim Street (5th floor).

Visits: morning until noon and 4pm-9pm

• מוזמנים כל המתפללים לקידוש לכבוד ראש חודש אייר.
• במוצ'ש מיד אחרי תפילת ערבית תהיה הדרכה חשובה בתפעול ושימוש במכשיר ההחיאה ”דְפִיבְּרְילֵטוֹר" — משך ההדרכה כ-20 דקות. המדריך הינו יאיר סלומון, הנכד של אליעזר ודינה ברוּקהיימר.

סיכום קמחא דפסחא תשע"ח

• יישר כח לכל הנדיבים שתרמו השנה 40,000₪ לחלוקת תלושים לנזקקים לקראת הפסח כדלקמן:
  • 20,000₪ נמסרו לחלוקה באמצעות לשכות הרווחה הקרובות: לשכת קטמון, לשכת גילה ולשכת בקעה-תלפיות. החלוקה בוצעה לנזקקים מוכרים בשתי הרמות הגבוהות של הנזקקות, סך 200₪ – 300₪ למשפחה.
  • 9000₪ נמסרו לחלוקה ל- 32 משפחות במעון לנשים מוכות ובדירות מסתור.
  • 8,000₪ חולקו לנזקקים בחצר ישורון באמצעות חברנו ניסים אביצור.
  • היתרה בסך 3,000₪ מחולקת לנזקקים ישירות על פי המלצות חברי הקהילה.
• נראה כי תרומותיכם כולן אמנם מגיעות למקומות הראויים ועוזרות למשפחות הנזקקות לחגוג את החג עם מעט יותר שׂמחה ואורה ושנזכה להמשיך לתרום ביד רחבה לעוד שנים רבות.

  • On Saturday evening, immediately following ma'ariv, there will be an important 20-minute instruction in the lifesaving use of our new defibrillator machine, taught by Yair Solomon, grandson of Dina and Lassar Brueckheimer.

• Yeyasher ko’ach to all the donors who donated ₪40,000 this year to distribute coupons to the needy as follows:
• ₪20,000 was distributed to local welfare offices: the Katamon, Gilo, and Baka-Talpiyot offices. The contributions were given to those known to be at the two highest levels of need, in the amount of ₪200 – ₪300 per family.
• ₪9,000 was distributed to 32 families in a shelter for battered women and in safe homes.
• ₪8,000 was distributed via Bet Knesset Yeshurun through the good offices of our member Nissim Avitzur.
• The balance of ₪3,000 was given directly to needy individuals, based on the recommendations of shul members.
• It seems that all your donations reached the right places and have helped needy families celebrate the chag with a bit more joy and light. May we be able to continue to contribute generously for many more years!
