at 3:00pm Tuesday May 30, 14 Kislev 5783.

Jane will be sitting shiva at her home at 6 Zerubavel St., Jerusalem

Shacharit: 7:30am Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (only)
Mincha / Ma’ariv: 7:35pm Wednesday and Thursday (only)

Although there will be no תפילות at the Medved house after Shabbat, Sunday or Monday, Jane will be sitting shiva for her mother until Monday morning.

No visitors please between 1:00 and 4:00pm, or after 9:00pm

• יום ירושלים / סעודה שלישית חגיגית:
  בשבת זו, נקדים את תפילת מנחה לשעה 18:45, ומייד אחריה נקיים בחצר בית הכנסת את הסעודה המסורתית שלנו לכבוד יום ירושלים. כל החברים ישתדלו לבוא ולחגוג בצוותא את שחרור ירושלים ופיתוחה. במהלך הסעודה, לוחם חטיבת הצנחנים ד"ר דב גולדפלם, יספר על מסלול הקרב שלו במהלך מלחמת ששת הימים.
  מאד נעריך התנדבות חברים וחברות בהתארגנות ופירוק סעודה זו.
• תורמים את הספרייה של הרב ד"ר וולטר ארנשטיין ז״ל. הספרייה נמצאת בביתו בדרך חברון 83/26 ומכילה בעיקר ספרי קודש, חלקם הגדול ישנים אבל במצב טוב מאוד. מוזמנים לבוא לבקר ולבחור. לתיאום ביקור – סטיבן דרוקר: 0544843908.

• Mazal tov to Rabbi Aaron and Pearl Borow on the birth of two great-granddaughters. Kerem Miriam was born on Erev Shabbat chol hamoed Pesach to Michal and Yossie Manor of Modiin. Grandparents are Ephraim and Yedida Borow. The second great-granddaughter was born yesterday to Chaim and Tzivia Zimmerman of Scottsdale, Arizona. Grandparents are Becky and Joe Zimmerman.
• We wish a refuah shlemah to אברהם יהושע בן פרל באהדנא.
• Yom Yerushalayim / Festive Seudah Shlishit:
  This Shabbat, we will be davening mincha earlier, starting at 6:45pm,  immediately after which we will hold our traditional annual seudah in honor of Yom Yerushalayim in the shul courtyard. During the seudah, Dr. Dov Goldflam will share with us his experiences fighting in Jerusalem in the Six Day War.
  We would greatly appreciate volunteer help with setting-up before and cleaning up after the meal.
• The library of Rabbi Walter Orenstein ז״ל is being given away, from his home at 83/26 Derekh Hevron. It contains primarily ספרי קודש, mostly old but in very good condition. To schedule a visit, call Steven Drucker at 054-484-3908.
