- בליל שבת נארח את מר יגאל ברכה, מהעיירה שדרות וכעת מנהל מערך המפונים משדרות לירושלים אשר יישׂא דברים לפני ערבית.
- קידושים: יִדָחו עד להודעה חדשה.
- השיעורים של הרב וילק יתקיימו השבת.
- תהילים: בשבת זו, בשעה 16:00 יתקיימו לימוד ואמירת תהילים לנשים בבית המדרש. תתן שיעור קצר מימי דיקמן ולאחר מכן אמירת תהילים לחזרתם בשלום של חיילינו, הפצועים, והשבויים. חשוב: אנא הביאו עמכם ספר תהילים.
- הרחבת הוראות פיקוד העורף: אסור להתקהל בחצר הקדמית. נא עיינו בעדכונים ביטחוניים פה.
- מפוני הדרום והצפון: הצטרפנו כקהילה לקבוצה העוזרת למפוני המלחמה. תרומותיכם הנדיבות יתקבלו דרך קרן הצדקה שלנו פה.
- דיור עבור בנות שירות לאומי: נא ראו הודעה חשובה פה
- ביטחון: בשבתות יהיו חברים חמושים בכל התפילות. כל חבר הנושא נשק ברישיון מתבקש להגיע עם נשק לבית הכנסת. בבקשה לא להתקהל בחצר הקדמי.
- בקשה לשמירה על בריאות הציבור: מתפללים ומתפללות שנמצאו חיוביים לקורונה מתבקשים לא להגיע לבית הכנסת. אלה שיש להם סימפטומים כגון שיעול מתבקשים לחבוש מסכות.

Mazal tov to Aharon and Judith Rivlin on the birth of a granddaughter, firstborn daughter to Neria and Mayan Rivlin-Katarivas.
Mazal tov to Rabbi Aaron Borow upon reaching the age of 90! Mazal tov to the Borows upon the birth of a great granddaughter to Hadar and Yair Moshe. Grandparents are Yedida and Ephraim Borow.
Mazal tov to Professor Monty N. Penkower upon being awarded a 2023 Bernard Lewis book prize from the Association for the Study of the Middle East and Asia for his volume “After the Holocaust”. Professor Penkower's acceptance remarks at the awards ceremony are here.
On Friday night we will host Yigal Bracha from Sderot, the director of arrangements for evacuees from Sderot in Jerusalem. He will speak briefly before Arvit.
Kiddushim scheduled for the coming weeks are postponed until further notice.
Rav Vilk’s shiurim will take place this Shabbat.
Women’s Tehillim and learning will continue this Shabbat in the small beit midrash at 4pm prompt. Mimi Dickman will give a short shiur followed by the recitation of tehillim for the safe return of our soldiers, the captives, and all who have been injured. Please bring a Sefer Tehillim with you.
Security: On Shabbat there will be armed members at all services. In addition, members licensed to carry a weapon are asked to come armed to Beit Knesset. Please do not gather in the front courtyard.
Evacuees: we have joined a group of kehillot to assist evacuees from both the North and South of Israel. Your generous donations can be made through our Tzedakah Fund here.

COVID: to protect the health of the community those who have tested positive for COVID are asked to not attend beit knesset. Those with symptoms such as a cough are asked to wear a mask.
