  • מזל טוב למשה שלזינגר בהגיעו לגיל גבורות פלוּס מצוות. משה לֹא בדיוק חגג בר מצווה לפני 80 שנה, תוך כדי ההפגזות על בודפשט לקראת סוף מלחמת העולם השנייה. אפשר לשמוע את סיפורו המדהים של משה (ושל ותיקים אחרים שלנו) בעמוד הראיונות של בית הכנסת פה.

  • Mazal tov to Moshe Schlezinger upon reaching the age of gevurot PLUS mitzvot. Moshe couldn’t actually celebrate his bar mitzvah 80 years ago this week, due to the incessant shelling of Budapest towards the bitter conclusion of WWII. You can hear Moshe’s amazing story (and of other vatikim of our beit knesset) on the Interviews page here.

  • Mazal tov to Michael and Ruth Kagan on the birth of their grandson, a son to Ori and Renana Kagan.

  • Shabbaton:  This Shabbat, Parshat ‘Vayakhel’, 28 families from our Kehilla will spend Shabbat together in Mitzpe Ramon. Have a good trip and an enjoyable Shabbat!

  • Kimha DePisha: Please send in your Kimḥa DePisḥa charitable contribution soon, so we can transfer help to the needy this Pesach through six agencies in our area. Every recipient will receive food coupons according to family size and need. You can transfer your contribution to the shul's Tzedakah Fund: 659307 at Bank HaPoalim, Branch 748. Please note: "Kimḥa DePisḥa". You can also write a check and place it in the box found at the entrance to the men's section of the shul. Thank you.
