  • מזל טוב לשרלוט ומורי בלומנפלד לנישׂואי נכדם עדין פלו, בנם של רחל בלומנפלד ואריק פֶּלוֹ מטורנטו, לעינת בן ישר, בתם של מרים וחגי בן ישר מאלון שבות. החתן יעלה לתורה בשבת במנין שמתחיל ב-9:00. הציבור מוזמן לקידוש לאחר התפילה.

  • במלאת שנתיים לפטירתו של חברינו מקס זינגר ז"ל, נעלה לקברו ביום שישי, 31 דצמבר 2021, כ"ז טבת תשפ"ב, בשעה 10:00 בהר המנוחות בגבעת שאול. נפגשים במגרש החניה הצמוד למתחם משאיות הזבל העירוני. קישור למיקום.
  • בעקבות מצב הקורונה, שיעוריו של הרב וילק לא יתקיימו בשבת אחר הצהרים בתקופה הקרובה. בריאות איתנה לכולם!
  • הצטרפו לשבתון קהילתי ב- 29-30/4/2022.
  • בימים אלה של התפרצות קשה של קורונה על כולנו לנהוג באחריות ולהקפיד על הכללים:
    • הכניסה לבית הכנסת היא רק לבעלי תו ירוק.
    • יש לעטות מסכה המכסה את האף ואת הפה.
    • ילדים שלא התחסנו או שאינם בין המחלימים צריכים להישאר בחוץ.
    • דלתות וחלונות צריכים להישאר פתוחים.
    • חברים הנמצאים בקבוצת סיכון גבוהה מתבקשים לשקול את האפשרות להתפלל בבית עד יעבור זעם.

  • Mazel tov to Charlotte and Morry Blumenfeld on the marriage of their grandson Adin Pellow, son of Rachel Blumenfeld and Eric Pellow of Toronto, to Einat Ben Yashar, daughter of Miriam and Haggai Ben Yashar of Alon Shvut. The Aliya l’Torah for the Shabbat Chatan will be held this Shabbat at the 9:00am minyan. The congregation is invited to a kiddush following the services.
  • Mazal tov to Rav Aharon and Pearl Borow on the birth of a great grandson, born to Chaim and Tzivia Zimmerman. The grandparents are Becky and Joe Zimmerman. 
  • The shloshim for Rav Avi Isaacs ז״ל will take place on מוצ״ש, Saturday evening, January 1, 2022, at 8:00pm. Due to the COVID situation, friends can participate via Zoom here. May his memory be a blessing.
  • To mark two years since the passing of our member Max Singer ז״ל, there will be a ceremony at the gravesite on Friday, December 31, 2021, at 10:00am, at Har Menuhot, Givat Shaul. The group will meet at the parking lot next to the municipal sanitation facility, map here.

  • Rav Vilk will not be giving shiurim on Shabbat afternoons for the next few weeks due to the current Corona situation. Wishing everyone good health.
  • Join us on the annual Yael Shul Shabbaton, April 29-30, 2022.
  • With the current resurgence of COVID, we must all behave responsibly and adhere strictly to the guidelines:
    •  Entrance to the shul requires a valid green pass/“tav yarok”.
    •  A mask covering mouth and nose must be worn.
    •  Children who have not been vaccinated or who have not recovered from COVID should not be inside the shul.
    •  Doors and windows should remain open.
    •  Members who are in high risk groups should consider remaining at home until matters improve.
