• קהילתנו קיבלה לאחרונה מכתבי תודה משני ארגונים שתרמנו להם מזון וציוד נוסף. תודה ״מאתנחתא״-דלת לחיים חדשים לבני נוער, ומ״אשה לאשה״ מקלט לנשים נפגעות וילדיהן.  יהי רצון שנזכה להרבה אפשרויות נוספות למצוות.

בשנה הקודמת תרמו חברי הקהילה ₪74,000 לרכישת כרטיסי קניה ברשת רמי לוי שיווק ה ִשׁקמה לחלוקה לנצרכים בדרום העיר. נבקשכם גם השנה להיחלץ ולתרום ביד רחבה למען עניי עירנו.הסכום מחולק בעיקרו דרך לשכות הרווחה והמקלט לנשים מוכות. כיום יש לקרן קשר מתמיד עם הלשכות שבדרום ירושלים: קטמון דרום, ארמון הנציב, גילה, גונן ובקעה תלפיות. לאחרונה גם נוספה לשכת חומת שמואל.

כבר בימים אלו מכינות הלשכות את רשימות המשפחות הנזקקות, בדרך כלל מרמות א' ו-ב', לקבלת קמחא דפיסחא , בהתאם לסכומים שייתרמו מהמקורות השונים הכוונה להתחיל לחלקם החל בראש חודש ניסן, שבועיים לפני החג, כי בשבוע האחרון יוצאות העובדות הסוציאליות לחופשה, שהרי הילדים בבית. לפיכך

אנא הקדימו תרומותיכם למען מטרה חשובה זו.

Kimcha D’Pischa Campaign –
Please Help Needy Families over Pesach

Last year the community donated 74,000 NIS for supermarket vouchers at Rami Levy that were distributed to needy families in the southern part of the city. You are asked once more to give generously for the poor of our city.

The vouchers will be distributed by the welfare departments and to the women’s shelter. The community’s Tzedakah fund maintains regular contact with the welfare departments in the southern neighborhoods: South Katamon, Armon Hanatziv, Gilo, Gonen, Baka and Talpiot and, more recently, Homat Shmuel.

These departments are already preparing lists of families in need who will receive support from “kimcha d’pischa.” Depending on the amounts received, the plan is to begin distribution from Rosh Hodesh Nisan. So please make your donation as early as you can.

It is also possible to donate by cheque by placing an envelope in the box just inside the men’s section. In all cases, please indicate that the donation is for the “Keren Tzedakah – Kimcha D’Pischa” campaign.
