  • המנין המוקדם ביום שבת חול המועד יתחיל בשעה 6:45.
  • במנייני שחרית של הושענא רבה יעמדו למכירה ערבות להושענות במחיר ₪10 לחבילה. שׂימו לב: לֹא יִמָכרוּ בערב שלפני.

  • We are delighted to announce the ḥatanim and kallah to be honored on Simchat Torah:
  •   Hatan Torah – Rabbi Shlomo Vilk
  •   Hatan Bereshit – Rabbi Jonathan Porath
  •   Kol HaNearim – Dr George Lowell
  •   Kallat Torah – Rabbanit Pearl Borow
  • Rav Vilk will be giving his daf yomi shiur on the first day of Sukkot and Shabbat Ḥol Hamoed at 6:15am. He will not be giving shiurim between mincha and maariv during Sukkot. Please note the early start time at 6:45am of the first minyan on Shabbat Ḥol Hamoed.
  • At the shacharit minyanim of Hoshanna Rabbah, aravot for hoshanot will be available for ₪10 per bunch. Note: they will not be available the evening before.
  • Learning on the night of Hoshana Rabbah will be on Tuesday evening, Oct. 22, at 9:00pm in Hebrew. See the program here.
  • Membership renewal: See the notice regarding membership for the coming year.
  • If you have paid membership dues and have not received a receipt of payment from the Beit Knesset, please send a note to us at info@yael.org.il. Please let us know the date and amount of your payment, and the method of payment (credit card, bank transfer or check).

לימוד ליל הושענא רבה

בית הכנסת עמק רפאים מזמין את הציבור הרחב לחוויית לימוד ליל הושענא רבה. הלימוד יתקיים אי"ה ביום שלישי, חוה"מ סוכות, כ' תשרי תשפ"ה 22.10.24 בבית הכנסת עמק רפאים, יעל 4, בקעה.בתוכנית:

  • 21:00-21:45 – הרב יואל בן נון שליט"א
    בנושא : מתי בתורה "צאת השנה" ומתי ראש השנה? מדוע?
  • 21:45-22:30 – ד"ר ביטי רואי
    בנושא: ל"תרגל תקווה", קריאה בדרשות מספר הזוהר.
  • 22:45-23:30 – הרב שלמה וילק, רב קהילת בית הכנסת עמק רפאים
    בנושא: "בעדת אל" היחיד והיחד.

  • Mazal tov to Bracha and Yitzhak Zuriel, on  the birth of their grandson Zvi Yisrael, son of Binyamin and Efrat Zuriel, whose brit was on the Shabbat before Rosh Hashanah.

  • On Yom Kippur, most of the members will be sitting in the same seats.  However there were a few changes, so please check the seating chart before entering the building.  There will be stickers only on the chairs where changes were made. 
  • If you ordered seats for Yom Kippur and will not be joining us at Yael, either for Kol Nidre evening or during the day on Yom Kippur, please notify mekomot.yael@gmail.com.

רֹאשׁ השנה / פרשת האזינו / שבת שובה

  • עקב מצב הבטחוני, פיקוד העורף הוציא הוראות המגבילות התקהלויות, במיוחד בחוץ. בית הכנסת שלנו בניין ישן וחזק אבל איננו מקלט תקני. מוצע שכל מי שחושש מהמצב יישאר בבית או ימצא חלופה אחרת.
  • עקב המצב, הקהילה תקיים מניין נוסף בבית משפחת וילק ברח׳ מרים החשמונאית 2 בשני הבקרים של ראש השנה. בבניין יש מקלט גדול.
  • בבקשה למלא בדחיפות את הטופס הזה כדי לרשום את הכוונות וההעדפות שלכם, כך שנוכל לתכנן את העניינים.
  • לא יתקיימו קידושים בשני ימי ראש השנה. יהיה כיבוד עבור מי שקשה להם.
  • שיעורי הרב וילק: דף יומי יתקיים ב: 7:15 בשני ימי ראש השנה, וב: 6:30 בשבת.
  • דרשת שבת שובה של הרב יִנָתֵן לאחר מנחה (17:35) בשבת תועבר דרך זוּם פה במוצאי שבת בשעה 20:30. נושא הדרשה: ״המלך המשפט״.

Announcements

  • Due to the security situation, the Home Front Command issued instructions restricting assembly, particularly out of doors. Our shul is a strong, old building, but it is not a shelter by current standards. Anyone anxious about their safety should remain at home or seek other arrangements.
  • Due to the situation, we will hold a second minyan on both mornings of Rosh Hashanah at the Vilk family home, 2 Miriam Hahashmonait St. The building has a large shelter in the basement.
  • Please fill out this form immediately with your intentions and preferences, so we can plan accordingly.
  • There will be no kiddush on Rosh Hashanah, but refreshments will be available for those who need them.
  • Rav Vilk will be giving his daf yomi shiur at 7:15am on the two days of Rosh Hashanah and at 6:30am on Shabbat.
  • Rav Vilk’s Shabbat Shuvah derashah on the topic “המלך המשפט” will be delivered after mincha (5:35pm) by Zoom here after Shabbat at 8:30pm.
